On February 13th, 2017 the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division conducted an investigation that lead to the arrest of two individual’s for methamphetamine.
Christopher Riordan of 112 Forrestwood Drive, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license. He is being held at the Spalding County Jail with bond set at $3,507.

Christy McClure of 35 Briarcliff Road, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and littering. She is awaiting a bond hearing and is being held at the county jail.

 

Sheriff Darrel Dix has advised WKEU news that on February 14th, 2017 the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division concluded an investigation that lead to the arrest of Maggie Gregg, of 125 2nd Avenue.


The investigation was prompted after several complaints were received at Special Operations related to suspicious activity occurring at 125 2nd Ave. Griffin, Ga.
As a result of the investigation, Maggie Gregg was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects. She is currently being held at the Spalding County jail awaiting her first appearance hearing.
Sheriff Dix would like to remind the public that every complaint in regards to illegal activity will be investigated. It is Sheriff Dix’s intentions to make every citizen feel safe in their homes and place of business.
