Chrisopher K. Calmer age 49 has been found guilty on all charges relating to the murder of Monroe County Deputy Michael Norris in 2014.
Sheriff J.C. Bittick of Monroe County has advised WKEU news that Christopher Keith Calmer, age 49, was found guilty of murder and eight other counts in Superior Court Tuesday afternoon.
The jury deliberated 30 minutes before reaching the verdicts. Now they will decide if Calmer gets the death penalty.
Calmer shot and killed Monroe County deputy Michael Norris of Culloden in 2014. He also wounded a another deputy, Jeff Wilson duirng the incident.
